From Rabbi David

Children riding bikes

Winter in Florida is strange for a north-easterner. Seeing your children wearing parkas and winter hats is funny to someone who spent 25 years having to turn the heat up when the temperature outside dropped below 30 degrees. A brisk winter day here in Florida is a gift to people like me. I guess I'm not much of a Floridian afterall.

In this week's parsha, Joseph finally reveals who he really is after hiding his identity from his brothers. It has always surprised me that Joseph's brothers couldn't recognize their own brother. He must have done a good job of concealing his true identity.

I guess I haven't done as good a job of hiding mine.
