From Rabbi David

On Sukkot we read the book of Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) from the Bible. In chapter 3:8 we read:

עֵת לֶאֱהֹב וְעֵת לִשְׂנֹא

עֵת מִלְחָמָה וְעֵת שָׁלוֹם׃ A time for loving and a time for hating A time for war and a time for peace

I wish this were a time for loving and a time for peace but I'm not feeling very loving and I don't see peace anywhere in sight.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have been feeling hate welling up inside of me and I see no other option than war.

I guess I just wanted to share that it's okay to feel this way. When there comes a time for peace and a time for love - I will be first in line. Until then I have no choice to but to feel the way I feel and that has to be okay.
