Growth and Change

This week our children planted new life in our garden. Watching them tenderly nurture these tiny plants reminded me of the potential and possibility of growth and change. We see it every day in your children, when they learn a new skill or discover a new love. We saw it as we gave birth to our new Engineering Garden which will grow over the next few weeks into a new play and discovery area for our children. And in our nation, we are witnessing growth and change this week with the inauguration of a new president.

Regardless of party or politics, we celebrate every opportunity for growth and change because it is this perpetual becoming that makes us human and allows us to become our best selves.

At Gan Sinai, we know that these early years are profoundly important for your child's development and growth. We also know how important it is to model for your children that growth doesn't end when we grow up. As adults, we too have the capacity to continue our development and growth and to embrace change as not only inevitable, but also vital. Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new, experience something transformative, and look at the world in a new way.

As we watch our newly planted flowers and vegetables grow we will also watch our children grow and, hopefully, see some growth in ourselves as well. Growth and change, while sometimes challenging, is, indeed, a blessing.

We invite you to be a part of that blessing of growth and change as we re-envision our outdoor play space. We have big plans for our new playground and need your help. Our major donor wants to see all of our families be a part of this process. Please take just a moment to be a part of our growth by letting us know how much you might be able to contribute toward the building of our new play space. You are not making a payment or any commitment - just letting us know that you are IN and willing to help when the time comes. We already have 11 families participating with almost $4000. Thank you! Here's the link to tell us you are IN: http://bit.ly/gansinaiplayground
