From Rabbi David
There's a great debate raging about the value of higher education, specifically college and university. Having put one daughter through the university system I can say with some certainty that this is a debate worth having.
There are also some who debate the value of early childhood education. After all, they are so young. But the science is clear: "...the time between birth and age 3 is a period of rapid brain development when billions of connections between individual neurons are established. Mechanisms and interventions to support that development must be available beginning at birth." (https://arc.net/l/quote/esdvtwdm)
Along with all of the brain development early childhood education supports - being a part of Gan Sinai also ensures "soul development." All the really important things fall under "soul development" - how we treat others; how we learn and grow from our mistakes; how we imagine and work toward a better tomorrow; how we build a relationship with God and Judaism.
Everything I ever really needed to know I learned in preschool and that's why we're here!
